Melody Ballroom is a
full-service, multi-purpose venue. Maybe you danced to the the
music of Tommy Dorsey in
the '40s, or to Selena and her band in '89. You may have shaken hands with Jesse Jackson as he campaigned for the US Presidency, or dined with Portland Mayor Bud Clark to help with his campaign for re-election? Its possible that your high school prom was held here or that you have been to a casino night, a fund-raising auction, a charity spelling bee or a Mardi Gras celebration. Perhaps you celebrated your wedding reception here, and the beginning of your new life together. At the Melody Ballroom, our specialty is in making your party uniquely yours. Our versatility is due in part to the flexibility of our facilities, and in part to the fact that we are owner-operated.
